Northdown Country Riding Club

The Northdown Country Riding Club  offers horse owners the right to ride across miles of enchanting countryside which is closed to the general public. Well maintained rides are laid out with horses in mind - no motor vehicles, pedestrians or dogs.

Members can ride away from traffic along pleasant green roads and farm tracks, woodland paths and open grass gallops. There are plenty of optional jumps to add excitement, ranging from simple logs to more difficult jumps suitable for intermediate and above. Perhaps what our members value most about the country riding club is the rare experience of freedom to ride any day of the year at any time that suits them.

Enjoy quiet frosty mornings watching the gulls behind the plough or summer evenings in shaded woods. See the lambs play in spring and follow the harvest home in autumn. With so much space our country rides are never crowded - escape with your horse to the tranquil world of nature and follow the seasons of the farming year.
